Stormy
Storms are rolling through this morning. That suits my mood just fine.
Here are the people who are not afraid of storms:
Barley the great dirty sock wrastler
Here are the people who are very afraid of storms:
Hmmm.... where is that damn cat?
Anywho, I cast on a toe-up sock last night with my hand-dyed. It's my first time using 0s and I am sure I will drive myself blind or batty before I even start turning the heel.

Barley is so brave! Bailey was under the bed all day yesterday.
Re: the #0s, any minute now they'll start to feel like you never used anything else, and then you'll pick up a pair of 7s for something and be like "dang, how did I ever knit with these 2x4s?"
Ashley has it so right - suddenly the 0s start to feel "right" and everything else feels unwieldy and "wrong."
Where is that cat! LOL...I love your pink tile floor, and your brave to be showing the family throne on the internet ;) the colors you used for the handyed are very pretty (once again) did you do stripping?, or is that the way it's turning out right now?
wow your hand dyed stuff is just gorgeous! love love the teal *drool*.
my house is the opposite by the way. the dogs hide, the cats party.
the colors are beautiful! we will get the storms tonight and tomorrow...I bet we will have a cuddly kitty on our hands tonight! I think he is brave and Cal is the scardy cat =)
Keep the faith chicky! Those socks will be aah-bsoloootly go-ah-geous I'm sure.
I have been out of the loop. Is the dis done yet?
Happy Day After Solstice!
I'm in awe of your dyeing adventures. I haven't been able to muster that level of ambition yet.
Oh Barley, you big brave cutie! Soph is not afraid of storms either, since she spent her early puppy hood in SW Ontario, the thunderstorm centre of Canada. She enjoys dirty socklets too. Stinkier, the better.
I LOVE that pink tile floor! And, is it just me, or is the water in the toilet pink?
Barley's face is just precious. I want to hug him!!
My dogs love socks, too. I can't leave them around or I end up finding them in the backyard (after they've gone through the dog).
That yarn is tasty.
Storms are groovy. When I lived in Japan, my house was at the foot of a mountain. The storms would come down over the mountain and crash down on the house.
They were amazing.
Congrats on the 0s and the toe-up socks! Your hand-dyed looks very lovely.
