More Self-Promotion
I signed the Agreement for Sale last night. You know these things are never official until settlement, but. A family - not an investor - will be purchasing my home. I am quite pleased that a family who will build a life and memories here will be moving in.

How long will it take for your escrow to close? I bet it makes you feel good to know that it is a family buying your house. I am new here so maybe I've missed part of the story...is selling your house a good thing?
Congratulations! I can see why you'd be happy a family is coming in to live there.
We agreed to close in mid-January.
I have nothing against investors/renters. It's just that... in this price range and this particular neighborhood, investors tend to let the properties go, people move in and out, there is crime, etc.
It is a very very good thing that I'm selling my house. I will be moving to Chicago to finally join my partner-in-crime, who I refer to as 'Rock Star' on my blog.

Yay! Congrats on the agreement! Taryn and Jay just signed an agreement on the other side of campus somewhere and will be moving in in January. My cousin just bought a house up here too.. SO, lots of people are moving in and out! I also love your branching out.. Its my favorite shade of green!
