7 Songbird Scarf

7 Songbird Scarf

I finished my Funky Scarf Swap project. I'm so in love with it that I will have to make one for myself, I think. I hope she likes it and thinks it's funky enough.

Yarn: 1+ balls Noro Kureyon

Sullen 7 Songbird Scarft

Pattern: out of my head and called '7 Songbird Scarf' in reference to the seven little glass bird beads I incorporated on the ends.

Detail of '7 Songbird Scarf'

More later, maybe in a week. I am deadly close to getting a full draft of The Big D to my advisor....

Pretty, pretty. I'm afraid yours isn't coming out too _funky_, at least not based on my definition of funky. But I like it and I think you will. It's definitely different and unique...

One more question: Do you have pierced ears?
Thanks!

I love it, especially those colors (and the birdies are cute too)! The one I made for the swap is a very similar shape and just last night I was working on some beading for it to funk it up a bit. :-)

*gasp* That is out of your head?! Awesome.

So cute - the birdies are the perfect addition.

Damn. I am still modeling no where close to actually writing in earnest. (stupid constants that aren't)

Wow, funky and beautiful! It's perfect for the swap. Do you think you might make the pattern public?

I will be posting the pattern - for free!

But, ummm, you'll have to wait a week or so 'cos I don't think my Dissertation Committee will appreciate my defending a scarf pattern next month.

Love, love, love the scarf! I may have to try this with the skein of Noro I have with nothng to do with it. I think it may even be the same colors! But I won't have the fun birdies to add. :(
