in which I declare Blog Bankruptcy
Rock Star had this brilliant idea. I have over 2300 unread bloglines and was stressing about it tonight and he said, 'it's too bad you can't just declare Blog Bankruptcy.'
To which I replied, 'of course I can. I shall do so as soon as we get home.'*
* this means I will not have read your past three months of brilliant and thoughtful and creative thoughts but that I *will* do so again.... starting NOW!

You know, there was a moment somewhere in my blog past where I was like "oh my god, I have 141 unread bloglines!" That was like a year ago. Now I swear, I miss a day and there's already like 200. Sometimes I just give up. So I endorse your bloglines chapter 11.

Amen! I have to give myself a Bloglines clean slate every few weeks just to maintain sanity.
I did something similar because I had almost 2000 unread posts I knew I couldn't get to.
Then I spent some time seriously weeding through my subscription list to the people I knew I would always make time to read.
That decision assuaged my guilt mightily...
That actually sounds like a great idea. I bet you'll feel great when you hit the 'mark all read' button!
